Peter Kravanja's intellectual interests focus on mathematics, art (cinema studies) and philosophy. He obtained a Ph.D. in Engineering (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, 1999), more specifically in the field of numerical analysis and applied mathematics, an M.A. in Cinema Studies (Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris III, 2002) and a B.A. in Philosophy (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, 2012).
Peter Kravanja is a member of the Heterodox Academy.
He reads, much of the night, and goes south in the winter. He also enjoys playing the piano, for example the second sonata (1936) by Paul Hindemith.
